Professional Development Services 

OzCCSS provide Professional Development workshops to embed learning in the day-to-day work of your business administration and management. We specialize in Audit and Compliance in education and personnel management. These workshops can be run in groups (up to 20) or as intensive professional learning sessions for 1-2 people, for a full day or multiple half-days, as required.


Note: Many Workshops are being delivered via Zoom as per client requirements.

 

We provide the workshops below at present:

  • New PTA Regulations - What's new? This workshop is offered over 2 days (4 hours each), featuring an extensive comparison of the new Private Training Act (PTA) and the revised PTIRU regulations. Due to high demand from our clients, we are booking these workshops online and delivering them via Zoom. This workshop is delivered as part of the professional development of staff of Private Career Colleges in BC, as per new regulations issued in 2025

  • LLN (Language, Literacy, and Numeracy) assessment in Learning: This workshop is designed to help trainers develop the skills to integrate LLN into their daily practice and create their own customized materials. In these workshops, trainers learn to develop assessment tools and learning materials for LLN evaluation.

  • Conflict resolution at the Workplace: This workshop will help your employees to deal effectively with conflict at the workplace. In this workshop, employees will explain effective techniques, skills, and attitudes for defining and addressing conflict among co-workers

  • In-House Workshops: At OzCCSS, we are committed to the continuous growth and success of our employees. Our in-house professional development programs are designed to enhance skills, expand knowledge, and support career advancement. We encourage a culture of learning where team members are empowered to develop professionally and reach their full potential.

  • Core Skills for Job Placement: This workshop will explain Employability skills, which are the non-technical skills, knowledge, and understanding that are necessary to gain employment and participate effectively in the workplace. Often referred to as soft skills, they include skills such as communication, self-management, planning, decision-making, and problem-solving. This workshop will give you tips and ways to achieve them.

  • Continuous Improvement Process in Education Compliance: This workshop will help clients understand the continuous improvement process in educational compliance. CI is a planned and ongoing process that enables businesses to systematically review and improve its policies, procedures, services, and products in order to generate better outcomes for clients and to meet changing needs. It collects analysis, and actions relevant information collected from staff, clients, and stakeholders. This workshop will give insights into the Continuous Improvement process along with examples.  

  • Cultural Intelligence (CQ): In this workshop, you will learn how to overcome cultural challenges and how to succeed in the global world by boosting  Cultural Intelligence at your workplace. Key topics in this workshop will be how cultures differ and the expectations of people with diverse cultural backgrounds.
